Beth’s move in 2005 to become a

29-year professional career that included 20 years of full-time permanent
staff service, followed by 9 years of free-lance consulting, for Texas and
national nonprofit organizations. Roles included organizing and training
grassroots volunteers, conducting media operations, public education and
outreach, and lobbying local, state, and federal elected officials.
